I love sleeping.
6 days until all my individual exams are over.
7 until we're going to turn in the last paper and school vacation starts.
13 days until my last day of work this year, not working again before January. And I'm going home that evening, can't wait! :D |

Am I the only one who didn't like 'The Kite Runner' and 'Twilight'?
The Kite Runner. It was ok, but not as good as I thought it would be. I had high expectations before I read it because everyone seemed to think it was genious so I thoiught I had something good to look foreward to. But was not impressed. I thought it was ok, a good story, just fine. But nothing extraordinary. What's all the hype about? What makes people think it is such a good book? I'd really like to know. I made my mom read it after me to see what she thought, because I felt like I must had missed something since I didn't get the fantastic part. But she wasn't that impressed either. She liked it better than I did though.
Then an american friend of me told me that I had to read a book called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. So I got the book and started reading it. Oh my god, what a boring book. I forced myself to read more and more, but it just didn't get any better and I didn't finish it. Later I found out that it was a very popular book and I was like, again "what's the fuzz about?!" This book was worse than The Kite Runner, I couldn't even finish it. I'm thinking that it may be the translating. I read the book in norwegian and it might have been better in engligh, I don't know, but there's a possibility. Because I didn't think it was very well-written, it was a very slow-read. But in addition to that I didn't think it was a very exciting story either. Why do people like it so much? |

Got home from work a little while ago.
I think people should donate some of their money to charity instead of spending so much on groceries for the weekend. Do they really need filled lobsters, goose patè and kilos of shrimp? I get that people want to splurge a little on the weekend, and not everyone spend that much money every week. But it's just that many who spends way over 1000kr every saturday to make me think that it's a lot of the same people every week. It just baffles me that people can spend that much on groceries. I'd rather buy some clothes, a new purse or some shoes or something and not eat gourmet food. The clothes and stuff lasts much longer than the food you're going to eat the tonight or tomorrow.
I know I could spend less money than i regularly do, but my spending is nothing compared to some of these people. |

It's fucking snowing outside!
Argh.... not a perfect start on the day. I hate winter! It's freezing and icy and NOT cool. I need to move to a country with no winter.
Now I have to figure out what to wear not to freeze to death and not get snowed away. I need to buy some warmer clothes, because I suddenly realized I don't have enough. Also, I want a new winter jacket, the one I have fits me awkwardly. But, with what money?? I don't get paid until nov. 10th... I hate not having money, I'm NOT good at saving. I want to be able to just go out and buy clothes if I need new clothes, and eat out whenever I feel like it. This sucks.
Hopefully, I'll have a better day after this rant. |

I got the job I applied for! I'm starting thursday and am working the weekend. I'm gonna work every other weekend and a little in the week when the need me. It seems perfect, cause I was a afraid that I would have to work more than I feel I have the time to, having to read and study a lot for school. This will give me something to do besides school, while still give me enough time to study, and very important, give me some extra money.
Going to the library tomorrow. I've mostly been reading chick-lit, fun books the last year and I'm now in the mood for something more serious. Not like fact-books or anything, but just a good novel with a little more meaning than the Shopaholic-series. ( I LOVE the Shopaholic-series though)
My Facebook switched over to the new layout today, it sucks.
I read nine pages for school today.
I came up with a "system" I hope works. Instead of just reading as much as I feel like (which is about nothing and why haven't read enough up until now) I'm gonna decide on a number of pages that I'm gonna read each day. Today it was 15 pages (not entirely succesful there, but anyway) and tomorrow i'm gonna read 50 pages and thursday 30 pages. A bit adventurous on the 50 pages there, but we'll see, my only plans are to go to the library so I should have enough time. The problem is the motivation and energy.
I'm currently on my sofa, waiting for Two and a half men on the tv, over an hour to go.

I've had cravings for chocolate cake for like forever now, so I fianlly made one yesterday. Forgot to put in the butter though, so it was a bit dry, but still tasted delicious. Yum. |

There's SO much to read for school. I don't understand how I'm gonna get through it all before exams in november and december. Even with the interesting stuff, it's like there's so much to read that I lose confidence. If I manage to read a few pages theres still so much left that it seems hopeless.
I need to get more disciplined and just read more. Blah... I'm not used to having to read so much for school. |

So the barberque was fun. Me and Emmy went out and bought food and a lot of alcohol. And we also bought a badminton-net with rackets and a volleyball, which we played after eating. Then we drank some more and went out.
Yesterday me and Emmy painted the ceiling of their bedroom.
And today me, her, Terje and Cato went to Sweden. I bought a new bag, Friis Company :D and lots of candy and soda. Yay. |

Wow, so I guess I wasn't so good at this updating my journal thing :P
Well, whats happened lately..
Went to an outdoors concert with Postgirobygget (Norwegian band) last saturday. Fuun :D
I don't have work for two weeks, and I'm bored..! Had fun today though. I hung out at Emmy's house. We bought food and made dinner. Then just hung out.
And tomorrow we're barberquing over there. Can't wait, it should be fun. Me and Emmy sitting comfortably in our chairs, bossing Terje and Cato around while they're barberquing our food. |

Today I got up at 06.15 to be at work 07.00. Not fun, I haven't been up this early in over a year I think. Got some sleep after work though. Then I just watched TV. Not an very exciting day, really. But tomorrow I'm going shopping in Oslo with my friend Emmy :D |

Even though I don't have any personal friends here, and almost no friends added at all, but whatever.
Today I didn't do much. I sorted through all my clothes and watched some episodes of Sex & the City. Wey..
